This bascule bridge was developed, rendered and animated for the Virginia D.O.T. Photomontages were also developed where the rendered view was geometrically embedded into existing photos of the site. These results were used in public hearings. The intent of the new bridge is to replace an older swing span bridge. Since it is slightly higher than the existing bridge the public was concerned with visual impact. This work achieved national recognition when the views were selected for publication on the front cover of CADence Magazine. CADence is a largest nationally known and respected trade journal for CAD users. The difference between OutSource’s graphics is that they are accurate as well as effective.
