These views are from a project that we worked on for a Northern Virginia County. A large stormwater retention facility and dam were being proposed near a very popular golf course in the county. Nearby residents expressed great concern over the potential impact this would have on their respective properties. Once these 3D models and photomontages were developed by OutSource Inc. they were displayed at a public hearing for the project. The public could easily visualize the project that they could not understand from engineering drawings. Lay people do not readily understand technical data or complex concepts when they are presented in industry terminology. But they do understand pictures. This project was approved during the public hearing due to the fact that the public saw what was being proposed and ultimately agreed with it. The only thing they requested was that the county plant a few trees in some of the open areas. The difference between OutSource’s graphics is that they are accurate as well as effective.
